The French start-up offered its baggage delivery service in partnership with the group Accorbut Air France had already planned to integrate this option as summer approached. The company made the integration official at the end of July. And lists eight points of care where travellers can entrust their luggage before finding them at their destination. Five hotels Accor Novotel Tour Eiffel, Mercure Tour Eiffel, Novotel Les Halles, Mercure Montparnasse and Pullman Bercy. Three spots MICE from ViParis Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, the Parc des Expositions Villepinte and the Palais des Congrès. Air France is already warning that new baggage drop-off points will soon be available, again in Paris.
Soon Orly, and home baggage check-in
The service is available from 30 hours before flight departure until 4 hours before departure. It costs 25 euros for one item of baggage, then 10 euros for each additional item. With the exception of Tel Aviv, this service is available on all flights operated by Air France Paris-CDG. Air France is already planning to introduce the service at Paris-Orly in the near future. Air France has also indicated that it is working to go even further, with a home baggage check-in service and baggage delivery on arrival, in Paris and the Paris region.
Alongside this integration, the alliance SkyTeam has also tackled the issue of baggage, but from a different angle: that of information.
