Expensify, the application designed for budgeting and keeping track of expenses, allows users to create expense reports using receipts and invoices stored in Evernote. Users go to the Expensify integration page, then click on "Connect my accounts", register with Evernote and authorise synchronisation. Once the accounts have been linked, Expensify automatically creates a new notebook in Evernote. When travelling, the business traveller then takes a photo of the receipt with Evernote, transfers the image to the Expensify notebook, completes the expense report, comments on it and sends it off for approval. Once the expense report has been completed and sent to Expensify, it is also possible to re-export the complete report, including the receipts, to Evernote in the form of a simple PDF. Technology is at the service of the business traveller, saving time and energy when they return from their trip.
