Already five years old, GCPS LLC was created to enable its founding members - Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA), Bank of America, BNP Paribas, Barclays Bank Plc, Santander Direkt, US Bancorp, and Visa International - to offer their multinational clients global payment card solutions. Through Visa Corporate and Visa Purchasing cards, these private companies and public administrations, which spend several billion dollars each year on the purchase of various goods and services, and on travel expenses for their employees around the world, are looking for innovative and flexible payment solutions.
When they sign a single contract with the GCPS, they have access to uniform products and services, maximum geographical coverage and consolidation of data at global level. "Thanks to this alliance with five major international banks, companies can optimise and simplify the management of their payment cards on a global scale", sums up Baudouin Prot, CEO of BNP Paribas.
