On Monday 11 March, Concur completed the acquisition of conTgo. While the details of the transaction remain confidential, Concur has made no secret of its intentions to enhance the range of functionalities offered by the Concur T&E Cloud, particularly in terms of geolocation and communication platforms. "Concur intends to leverage conTgo's market-leading technology to deliver a range of new services designed to optimise the traveller experience," summarises the press release. Concur is highlighting a number of key advances, including the ability to support business travellers as part of their duty of care, the ability to share experiences with colleagues and the ability to provide fast destination information.
