Air Caraïbesa Caribbean airline specialising in the Caribbean, and Sunrise Airways (Haiti) have signed a commercial cooperation agreement. It allows passengers to book an end-to-end journey to and from the Haitian provinces. Cap Haïtien, Les Cayes and Jérémie in Haiti are now easily accessible from Paris-Orly.
Air Caraïbes currently serves Haiti once a week from Paris-Orly. every Tuesday. The airline will be increasing its frequencies from 13 June. Two weekly flights to link Orly to Port-au-Prince every Monday and Wednesday.
Sunrise Airways was created in 2009. The company is based in Haiti but also has a subsidiary in the Dominican Republic.. It operates routes within Haiti, between Haiti and the Dominican Republic and with Cuba. Connections between Port-au-Prince and the Haitian provinces are made by Embraer 120 Brasilia. This aircraft has a capacity of 30 seats. On international routes, the carrier mainly uses a Boeing 737-300 or an Airbus A320.
