In the wake of a day of general mobilisation, it was to theAir France that the eyes of business travellers are focused on this 23 March. The strike notice lodged by several of the airline's staff unions would mobilise 35% of pilots, 31 % of cabin crew and 29 % of ground staff.
The movement on 23 March should nevertheless have a limited impact on business travel. On the morning of 23 March (8.45am), the company planned toensure 75% of its flight programmewhile specifying that " delays and disruptions cannot be ruled out ".
On 23 March, Air France plans to operate :
- 70% long-haul flights
- 70% medium-haul flights to and from Paris Charles de Gaulle
- 80% for short-haul flights, Paris-Orly and provinces
Air France's management claims to have sent out almost 200,000 messages since 19 March to inform customers affected in real time, and points out that ". Air France flights operated by an aircraft other than Air France or Joon are not affected by this strike (HOP!, KLM, Delta...) ".
It remains to be seen how the movement will evolve: a strike notice has also been submitted for the Friday 30 March.
