Pursuing its idea of enhanced hospitality, Accor is extending the scope of its ALL loyalty programme to urban mobility. Through the ALL application or the all.com website, programme members can now book a taxi or VTC and earn points by paying for their journeys by credit card, or even by paying them directly with their points.
To offer this new ALL Mobility service, Accor has joined forces with Renault's Mobilize brand, dedicated to new forms of mobility, through a strategic and technological partnership with the start-up Karhoo. Supported by Mobilize, this mobility solutions aggregation platform is designed to enable players in the travel industry to offer their customers white-label taxi and VTC services.
Other partners include SNCF and Trainline in the rail sector, Emirates in the air sector and Booking in the hotel sector. " Adding mobility to the services they offer enables our commercial partners, such as Accor, to improve the experience and satisfaction of their customers.s", says Fedra Ribeiro, CEO of Karhoo.
Karhoo connects travel professionals with nearly 2,500 taxi and VTC fleets and 1.8 million vehicles worldwide. While Karhoo boasts a presence in 1,500 cities and 300 airports worldwide, ALL Mobilité's offering currently covers 490 European cities as well as Dubai and New York. " This mobility solution is seamlessly integrated into the hotel booking processsays Mehdi Hemici, Accor's General Manager for Loyalty and Partnerships. It allows our ALL members to book their transfer from the airport to their hotel, or to book a journey in their home town using their ALL points.. "
The new ALL Mobility service make it easier for travellers to get around, particularly abroad where they don't always know how to book and pay for a taxi or VTC, but it also allows programme members to earn or use points in their day-to-day lives, for both business and private local travel. In practice, users can compare taxi and VTC offers in real time and make their choice based on price, pick-up time, vehicle category (electric, internal combustion, etc.) and available options (e.g. child seat).
This first step in urban mobility will undoubtedly be followed by others, as Accor has underlined its ambition to " to become the first hotel operator to offer multimodal mobility servicesThis will eventually include micro-mobility and shared-vehicle services for its members, with progressively global coverage."
