American business travellers don't fully embrace their "bleisure" breaks, according to the National Car Rental survey

For several years now, the bleisure is no longer a secret to business travel professionals. However, not all business travellers take full responsibility for the 'good times' they indulge in on a more or less regular basis while away from home. This is confirmed by a study published by National Car Rental. This " The current state of business travel (" State of Business Travel Survey in French) estimates that 80% of American business travellers allow themselves time to relax and enjoy personal activities during a business trip, but not always with a clear conscience. For 38% of those surveyed, it is forbidden to discuss these good times with their manager. The same goes for work colleagues, who should not be kept in the dark, according to 40% of those surveyed. Business travellers are also wary of social networks: 25% of them avoid sharing these bleisure activities.

And yet, according to this National Car Rental survey, the managers in question are quite open to the idea of their employees taking time out during their work. On 750 managers surveyed92% of them say they support the idea that their travellers can take time out for entertaining activities during their journey.
