The debut of a new collection. The Onomo Group, one of the leading players in the pan-African hotel industry, has chosen Casablanca to launch its Onomo Collection range of premium boutique hotels. A year after the launch of the lifestyle hotel Onomo Allure, the opening of the Le Square hotel opens a new chapter in the development of this group, which now boasts 24 hotels across the continent, from Tangiers to Johannesburg.
Already present in Casablanca, as well as in Rabat and Tangiers, Onomo is thus completing its offer in the Moroccan economic capital with this hotel located in the lively Gauthier district, on the corner of Rue Moussa Ibnou Noussair and Rue Jean Jaurès, close to the Arab League and the historic centre. The result of a partnership between Onomo and the Berrada and Benabdeljelil families, Le Square by Onomo Collection is in keeping with its surroundings, starting with the architectural heritage of the district.

Balanced volumes, openings that let the site interact with the light and the urban atmosphere: the building, designed by architect Salma Dioury " as a work in its own right "The elegant lines of this new building reflect the great architectural movements that have left their mark on the city, with Art Deco inspiration mixed with nods to Haussmann.
This conversation between heritage and modernity continues in the interior design, by the Michelangeli Design studio, where contemporary aesthetics blend with sandy tones, bas-reliefs with moucharabieh motifs and woodwork in bronze marquetry. In the bedrooms, tadelakt bathrooms pay homage to Berber tradition, and old postcards evoke the port city's past. In all, the hotel has 60 rooms, ranging from 23 m² to 62 m² for the largest suites, all decorated with paintings by local artists on the ceiling.
Business travellers will enjoy a timeless interlude in this new top-of-the-range boutique hotel. With a spa and a rooftop offering a 360-degree view of Casablanca, where the Sain Levant restaurant serves healthy oriental cuisine made from local ingredients. These include grilled fish and falafel with yoghurt, fresh herbs and lemon sauce, as well as pressed Anfa lamb with orange and pan-fried foie gras with coffee-scented tfaya. On the ground floor, a more relaxed table, the Square Club, welcomes business customers from morning until night over a dish or a coffee.
For business trips, Le Square by Onomo Collection also offers two meeting rooms, with a 21 m² studio for executive committees or brainstorming sessions and a 24 m² workshop, which can be adapted to accommodate between 12 and 20 people, depending on the configuration.
