Announced several months ago, the "Covid EU digital certificate enter in force on 1 July and will be one of the proofs authorised for travel within the European Union and the member countries of the Schengen area.
Since 25 Junetravellers - provided they are covered by a French health insurance scheme - can download their vaccination certificate from Ameli teleservice. The bilingual French-English version of the certificate includes details of the vaccination given - vaccine administered, number of doses, date and country of vaccination.
As a reminder, only people who have been fully vaccinated do not need to be tested to travel or, in France, to attend events attended by more than 1,000 people. In other words 14 days after injection of the 2nd dose for Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca vaccines and 28 days after injection of a dose for the Janssen vaccine.
The Health Insurance teleservice also includes a QR code for easy integration of the vaccination certificate into the TousAntiCovid application. To do this, simply go to the "My book" section, select "Add a certificate" and scan the QR code on the right of the certificate, whether the document is printed or displayed as a pdf on the screen.
Another solution for those who can't scan the QR code: take a photo of the vaccination certificate with your smartphone, whose QR code can be read in the same way as if it were integrated into TousAntiCovid.
For people who have not yet been vaccinated, the solution should be to soon to be able to present negative test certificates or immunity to travel without difficulty.
