The arrival of a number of major new additions to its network at the end of 2013 - American Express Corporate Payment, Business Table and 3Mundi - and at the start of 2014 (Amadeus and Traveldoo) enabled GBTA France to reach the 100-member mark at the end of January. This is a major milestone for the business travel industry, and coincides with the first anniversary of the French organisation, chaired by Carole Poillerat. "The proportion of travel and meetings buyers within GBTA France is growing rapidly, and word of mouth is working well," says the association with satisfaction. "Attracted by the valuable content, the transparency of the discourse and the feeling of freedom of speech, buyers are finding real added value to support them in their day-to-day missions". 2014 will be marked by the arrival of new meeting formats: in addition to breakfasts and MICE training, GBTA France will be launching the "Dine & Think" concept on 3 April, as well as a "Trip & Learn" event, the date of which is not yet known.
