France 2023: where will the teams be staying during the competition?

Antoine Dupont, Jonathan Sexton, the Barrett brothers, Eben Etzebeth, Owen Farrell... Business travellers who are rugby fans may come across one or other of these big names when they travel to France. The 20 teams have established their base camps in numerous hotels. An establishment such as the Relais Thalasso Atalante on the island of Ré, host of Georgia, is not hesitating to play on this fact, offering a 3-night package for a relaxing stay close to the team. The Renaissance Paris Hippodrome in Saint Cloud will have the privilege of hostingwelcome the French national team. For its part, England, based in Le Touquet, has chosen to stay at the Holiday Inn resort. Without opting for a choice that might have seemed more intuitive for Her Majesty's citizens: the hotel Westminsterpart of the Barrière group. While Ireland has fully privatised the Château Belmont in Tours, a hotel with almost 70 rooms surrounded by lush parkland, hosting a team does not necessarily mean total ownership of the site. Another star team, the All Blacks, will be staying just a stone's throw from the Gerland stadium in Lyon, in a hotel owned by GL Events: the aptly named The Ruck Hotel. This four-star establishment has decorated each of its 134 rooms with rugby touches, oval mirrors, posters of legendary matches and leather notes evoking the balls of yesteryear. But it also knows how to be studious at times with its coworking space and five seminar rooms. For business exchanges that are tough but always fair.
