Business travellers can expect disruption to their journeys on the SNCF and RATP networks on Tuesday 11 October. The CGT-CFDT-FSU-Unsa-Solidaires unions are calling on staff to mobilise in opposition to the government's austerity plan. However, the impact of the strike is expected to be limited: SNCF and RATP are forecasting 4 TGV trains out of 5, 2 TER trains out of 3 and 1 train out of 2 on the RER C. Internationally, only the Thalys should be slightly affected. It should be noted that the strike notice begins at 8pm on Monday 10 October, and that no night trains will run between Monday and Wednesday.
