Trade union action planned for next week in Belgium has prompted Thalys to cancel all its trains for the day of 30 January. Disruptions are also expected on 29 and 31 January, limiting the number of stations served: from Paris, Thalys trains 9475 and 9487 (18:25 and 19:43) will only serve Brussels-Midi on Sunday evening. The following trains (8.55pm, 10.01pm and 10.25pm) will be cancelled, as will all scheduled services on Monday. Thalys is therefore asking passengers to postpone their planned journeys during the strike, and is planning commercial measures to make it easier to exchange tickets. The strike, which will involve the public and private sectors, could also affect public transport and other aspects of business travel in Belgium, as was the case at the end of December.
