InterContinental's Priority Club Rewards application is looking to new horizons, with the development of dedicated versions for new tools. Already present on Windows Phone, Android and iPhone, the hotel group intends to expand its range with Amazon's Kindle Fire, Google TV and Android tablets. "Customers are embracing new tools such as digital tablets and interactive TV, so we will continue to expand our booking options and brand presence in these key areas," said Michael Menis, IHG's Vice President of Internet and Interactive Marketing. The Priority Club Rewards application enables travellers to find and book their hotel, contact the establishment directly and, above all, access their company's customer account and negotiated rates. By targeting these 'next generation' technologies, InterContinental is aiming to boost the number of bookings via mobile channels, even though the group has announced revenues of more than 130 million dollars (99.3 million euros) from this segment for 2011.
