Fairmont Ramla Serviced Residences, Riyadh (early 2023)
Already present in the Saudi capital with a hotel of 298 rooms and suites, the luxury brand Fairmont adds a second residential address. An attractive long-stay property for business customers, located close to the King Abdullah financial district and the International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Spread over thirty-five floors, the Fairmont Ramla Serviced Residences will house 249 spacious and luxurious flats, all with private terraces overlooking the Saudi metropolis.
The Jeddah EDITION (summer)
As part of its global expansion, the brand EDITIONco-developed by Marriott and hotelier Ian Schrager, is expanding its footprint in the Middle East. After Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and with Doha in the pipeline, this luxury lifestyle brand will be setting up shop in Jeddah this year. Located along the corniche, next to the marina and the F1 circuit, the hotel plays the intimate card with 63 rooms, including 11 suites, a restaurant and bar, complemented by a rooftop terrace with swimming pool.
Raffles Jeddah (3rd quarter)
Jeddah's Corniche has been honoured with some prestigious names. As well as an EDITION hotel, the seafront thoroughfare will also welcome a luxurious Raffles in the second half of the year. Housed in two towers, the Raffles Jeddah will comprise residential flats on one side and a 182-room hotel on the other. All of this will be organised around a single hall, the Plaza, housing a barber and hairdresser, a bakery and a top-of-the-range supermarket. Three restaurants, each with their own specialities and inspirations, are also expected to open: the Riviera for Mediterranean cuisine, the Atorie Lounge & Patisserie for sweet treats between France and Japan, and a typical Saudi café, the Azul.
Dubai
SO/ Uptown Dubai (early 2023)
After settling in on the banks of the Seine in 2022In 2023, the SO/ brand will be exploring new horizons by setting up shop in one of Dubai's new towers in the Middle East, the iconic Uptown Tower. In this tower inspired by the shape and reflections of a diamond, SO/ Uptown Dubai will deploy its high-end lifestyle offer around elegant restaurants and bars, a swimming pool and 188 rooms, as well as a meeting space with a majestic reception hall. There will also be 229 private residences with one to four bedrooms.
Atlantis, The Royal (March)
A luxurious addition to the complex Atlantis The PalmAtlantis The Royal joins a long list of hotel mega-projects in the emirate. This resort within a resort boasts a host of rooms - 795 in all, but 44 suites too - and a a string of restaurants overseen by star chefs including Gaston Acurio, Jose Andres, Nobu and Heston Blumenthal, who will be launching his first cocktail bar, Resonance, to mark the occasion. Composed of six towers, like a pile of luxurious floors laid one on top of the other, the complex is connected to the 22e floor with a rooftop swimming pool. To round things off, Atlantis The Royal has added a gigantic fountain, the Skyblaze, which will entertain guests with shows combining water jets and pyrotechnics.
Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab (August)
Great stories are sometimes written in the form of a trilogy. With its Burj Al Arab, and its famous silhouette with the air of a great sail, Jumeirah Group had already set in motion a new narrative for Dubai as a destination. Then came the Jumeirah Beach, with its wave-shaped architecture. This year, the Dubai hotel operator is opening a third volume with a hotel that looks like a futuristic yachtMarsa Al Arab. Anchored on the Emirate's largest private beach, alongside a marina, the establishment rivals its predecessors in luxury, notably in its interiors designed by Tristan Auer. 386 rooms and suites, 83 flats nestling in private gardens, four swimming pools: everything is conducive to exclusive moments of relaxation. On the restaurant front, Marsa Al Arab will offer a range of branded restaurants heralded as "impressive", including a new concept comprising four restaurants in one.
The Lana - Dorchester Collection (September)
The prestigious Dorchester Collection will be taking its first steps in the Middle East with a major project, The Lana hotel, a 225-room and suite establishment housed in a new architectural jewel designed by Foster + Partners. Set on the edge of the Marasi Business Bay Marina, not far from the Burj Khalifa district, The Lana is due to open in autumn and will feature chic interiors by designers Gilles and Boissier, a signature restaurant at 18e floor and, to top it all off, a rooftop with bar and swimming pool.
Mama Shelter Dubai (winter)
An urban resort in the Mama style: the brand created by the Trigano family - now part of Accor - is exporting its products to other countries. its lifestyle expertise in Dubai, in the heart of Business Bay. Expected to open at the end of the year in a 27-storey building, Mama Dubai is a departure from the classics and will offer a larger-than-usual number of rooms (197 keys), as well as 204 flats. This is an opportunity for Mama Shelter to demonstrate its festive spirit, with a terrace including four swimming pools, several restaurants and an open-air CineMama.
Qatar
Andaz Doha (beginning of the year)
Located in the heart of the West Bay business district, on Diplomatic Street - an address that speaks volumes about its proximity to most embassies, as well as financial institutions - the Andaz Doha will add its silhouette to the skyline of the Qatari capital early this year. Contemporary art, design: the Hyatt group's top-of-the-range brand will roll out in Doha its lifestyle spirit with 256 rooms, including 36 suites, and 56 long-stay flats. Also on the programme are an outdoor swimming pool and fitness centre, a Singaporean street food restaurant - Mr. & Mrs. Hawker - and another focusing on South African cuisine, Salt Road, as well as a jungle-themed bar. As far as meetings are concerned, Andaz Doha will have a large ballroom with a capacity of over 700 people in theatre or cocktail format, and four other modular rooms.
Four Seasons at The Pearl-Qatar (spring)
Four Seasons will be adding a second address in Doha in the first half of the year. After the Doha Corniche, the Canadian luxury group has found a new beachfront location on the artificial island of The Pearl. Situated on a private beach at the end of Porto Arabia Drive, but close to the business district of West Bay, this resort is also a holiday destination for business travellers staying in Doha for several days. The hotel's residential offering includes 161 luxury one- to three-bedroom flats, all with fully-equipped kitchens and outdoor terraces. Residents will find everything they need to relax at this resort, with two outdoor pools and one indoor pool, a fitness room and beauty salons for men and women. The Four Seasons at The Pearl-Qatar also stands out for its gastronomic offering with seven restaurants and bars, including a steakhouse, an Italian restaurant and another on the beach, Loulou. More importantly, Joël Robuchon has created a seafaring restaurant for the hotel, La Méditerranée, as well as a more casual Deli.
Rosewood Doha
The architecture of the two towers that will house the Rosewood Doha is sure to impress travellers passing through Doha. Qatari architect Ibrahim Jaidah drew his inspiration from coral reefs to create the Rosewood Doha. a place dedicated to both nature and excess with 185 rooms and suites, 173 flats and 300 residences. A vertical resort with swimming pools and restaurants galore, but also spaces dedicated to events and meetings, including a vast 1500 m2 ballroom. Rosewood The hotel will also feature its Manor Club executive lounge concept, offering privileged services to guests in Club rooms and suites.

Park Hyatt Johannesburg (early 2023)
A far cry from the gigantism of the Middle East, Park Hyatt is making its debut in Johannesburg with an intimate establishment of just 30 rooms and suites, the Winston Hotel, in the lively Rosebank district. The American group's luxury brand has taken over a flagship establishment for the destinationrenovated and redesigned by renowned designer Yabu Pushelberg before being elevated to the rank of Park Hyatt. This exclusive and discreet property, close to many popular restaurants as well as Rosebank Gautrain station and connected to OR Tambo airport, will offer business travellers, in addition to a meeting room for 60 people, a restaurant with terrace and a sophisticated bar in the hotel courtyard.

Waldorf Astoria Cairo Heliopolis (spring)
While many luxury brands will soon be playing their part in the development of Egypt's new administrative capital, Waldorf Astoria remains loyal to Cairo and this year will be moving to the Heliopolis district, less than 10 minutes from the international airport and not far from the embassies. An ideal location for business travellers, to whom the hotel dedicates a large part of its offer with, in particular, 12 meeting rooms and a ballroom for up to 2,000 people. All of this in a MICE area of 6400 m2shared with the Hilton Cairo Heliopolis. Housed in an exclusive tower, the Waldorf Astoria in Cairo will display the distinctive signs of the brand, with the presence of an emblematic Waldorf clock and its Peacock Alley lounge. The programme also includes 252 rooms and suites, a swimming pool and 16 bars and restaurants.

Conrad Rabat Arzana (January)
Located on the seafront in the Moroccan capital's upmarket Harhoura district, the Conrad Rabat Arzana opened its doors at the turn of 2023 and offers travellers 120 rooms and suites, including Morocco's largest royal suite, measuring 623 m2. In addition to its top-of-the-range leisure facilities, this new luxury hotel from the Hilton Group is also designed for corporate events with a special focus on the city of Rabat.c a MICE area of over 1000 m2 with a large reception room, four meeting rooms and an outdoor terrace overlooking the ocean.
Four Seasons Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr
Alongside the planned extension of its airport, the Moroccan capital is strengthening its hotel offer, making no secret of its tourist ambitions. After a new Fairmont recentlyRabat will be home to a luxurious Four Seasons hotel later this year. The Canadian-based group will be moving into thea former royal summer palace built in the 19th century.e centurywhich later became a military hospital. Closed just over twenty years ago, this cliffside site - hence the name Four Seasons Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr, literally the "castle of the sea" - is about to complete a major renovation phase to accommodate a 204-room and suite hotel overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel will also include seven bars and restaurants, a spa, an indoor and several outdoor swimming pools, as well as a vast conference and event space.
Nobu Marrakech (January)
Led by chef Nobu Matsuhisa and supported by actor Robert De Niro, Nobu Hotels is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year. Launched in Las Vegas, the brand will be celebrating this anniversary with a series of openings throughout the year, including in Atlantic City, Rome, San Sebastian and Toronto, starting in Marrakech in January. The Nobu Marrakech, the brand's first foray into Africa, is located in the heart of the city. in the Hivernage districtjust a few steps from Place Jemaa el-Fna. On the menu are 71 contemporary suites, indoor and outdoor pools and a luxurious spa, a Nobu restaurant of course, and a rooftop garden with a sushi bar and a Moroccan cuisine restaurant.
Park Hyatt Marrakech (April)
Housed within the Al Maaden golf complex, the Park Hyatt Marrakech will mark the luxury brand's arrival in Morocco with a 131-room resort, including 70 suites, all with vast terraces. In the distance, the Atlas MountainsIt is surrounded by an 18-hole course designed by Kyle Phillips: the establishment is also ideal for exclusive seminars, with a dedicated 1,000 square metre wing comprising 7 meeting rooms, a foyer and a bar extended by an outdoor terrace.
Kenya
Kwetu Nairobi, Curio Collection by Hilton (June)
The brand Curio Collection of Hilton, a group of upmarket boutique hotels, is to set up in the Kenyan capital with the addition of the Kwetu Nairobi hotel. Located close to the business district, on the edge of the Karura forestThis new hotel is set in a green environment. With 102 rooms and butler service, the hotel comprises five buildings of different design and style, but all interconnected. With its restaurant, rooftop bar, swimming pool and spa, the Kwetu Nairobi offers its guests pleasant moments of relaxation. But Hilton's new establishment also provides a soothing setting for corporate events, with ten meeting rooms overlooking the surrounding garden and forest.
Pullman Nairobi Upper Hill (mid-2023)
Pullman, Accor's top-of-the-range business brand, will add Nairobi on its list of business destinations with an establishment located in the Upper Hill district, not far from embassies and the headquarters of major companies.
Tunisia
Hilton Skanes Monastir Beach Resort (summer 2023)
The Hilton brand is adding its first address in Tunisia to its list of resort destinations. The American group The Hilton Skanes Monastir Beach Resort will take up residence on the shores of the Mediterranean in Monastir at the end of the summer. With a white sandy beach, an abundance of leisure facilities including seven bars and restaurants, five swimming pools, a spa and a tennis court, this hotel with 346 rooms and suites is primarily designed for family holidays. However, it also caters for business travellers. seminars and incentive breaks with 1,100 square metres of MICE space including a large ballroom and three meeting rooms, all within easy reach of Monastir Habib Bourguiba international airport.
