Iberia launches new baggage options in addition to its standard 23kg allowance. Passengers can now select an allowance of 15 or 32 kilos.

On the other hand, passengers will now have to pay a supplement for each additional kiloExcluding excess. Each kilo will be charged at 12 euros instead of the flat rate in force until now.
These new baggage options are in force on domestic and European routes operated by Iberia, Iberia Express and Iberia Regional/Air Nostrum. For the moment, customers can access them via the company's website or its application. Eventually, they should also be sold through branches connected to the company's distribution system.
Focus on Latin America
In addition, the has announced that it has resumed most of its flights to Latin America. Since July, Iberia once again serves 18 destinations in 16 countries with 90 weekly flights.
Since this month, Iberia has been serving Cali in Colombia twice a week and Puerto Rico three times a week from Madrid by Airbus A330-200. Iberia has also increased the number of weekly flights on the Madrid-Mexico route from 10 to 12. It plans to increase this to two daily flights in September.
