The news had already leaked to a number of media outlets on both sides of the Channel. It is now more official. La Provence confirmed on Monday, on the basis of information provided by Eurostar, the opening of a new London-Marseille route. We will have to wait until 1er May 2015 to see the Eurostar train at Gare Saint-Charles, and we still don't know how often the city of Marseille will be served. The journey time is estimated at 7 hours from Marseille, compared with 6 hours in the opposite direction due to the administrative formalities to be completed beforehand.
