Based in Spetses since 1914the Poseidonion Grand Hotel Over the years, it has acquired a unique status, acting as a lighthouse or bell tower for an island that is entirely focused on this particular theme. national monument. Admittedly, the constraints associated with its separate status have complicated the extensive renovation work begun in 2004Today, however, they guarantee visitors an authentic setting, above fashion and untouched by the whims of architects who are sometimes too visionary.

These are just some of the assets that the hotel's management now intends to promote to corporate clients, in order to boost its business. MICE activity which now accounts for an estimated one-third of the hotel's revenue, including VIP weddings. And by staging so many large-scale events - from the Spetses Golden Cup beach volleyball tournament right next door to the hotel, to the tweed bike race and the traditional boat regatta - the Poseidonion has built up solid organisational expertise. What's more, the hotel's managers intend to offer much more than a simple hotel solution, presenting themselves as a DMC capable of meeting all event requirements.
