Voyages SNCF is launching the "Petits Voyages entre amis" application on Monday 24 October: travellers can now book their tickets on Facebook, and above all share their journeys with their private or professional contacts. The rail company's arrival on the social networking scene should make it easier to organise group trips, thanks to a discussion space dedicated to choosing tickets according to each person's availability: after "creating" the trip by entering the date and route, the various users involved can discuss the most advantageous route and price. Last but not least: payment. On this point, Voyages SNCF has not yet given in to the siren calls of the social network, and reserves exclusive rights to transactions.
