Strike on 18 October: SNCF takes stock

SNCF has just unveiled its traffic forecasts ahead of the strike on 18 October. Disruption is expected to be concentrated on the TER, Transilien and Intercités networks.

The Inoui TGV network should be spared the disruption caused by the strike on 18 October.

On Monday afternoon, the SNCF has published its forecasts for the strike on 18 october. According to the rail company, business travellers should experience limited disruption on the main routes. As a result international lines will have little or no impact, particularly on networks EurostarThalys and Lyria. SNCF expects traffic to "near-normal.

Similarly, the TGV Inoui and Ouigo should only be " slightly disturbed" . SNCF expects traffic to be almost normal on the TGV Nord, Est and Sud-Est. And operations will be slightly disrupted on the Ouigo network and the TGV Atlantique.

Disruption will therefore be concentrated on the Transilien and TER networks. We expect one TER in two on average on 18 October. As for the Ile-de-France network Transilien and IntercitésThe situation will vary greatly from one line to another:
