G7 launches its new Connect tool

The G7 taxis recently presented a new service aimed at simplifying business travel and urban mobility in general. Its mobile application is equipped with the G7 Connect to enable passengers to pay for their journey directly from their smartphone, once they are in their taxi. There is no need to pre-book the vehicle, as the G7 Connect function is designed to allow passengers to pay their fare after hailing a taxi in the street or finding it at a taxi rank. Once on board, passengers simply open their G7 application and activate the Connect function. All they have to do is enter the four-digit code communicated by the taxi driver so that the journey can be directly "connected" to the passenger's smartphone. The passenger can then be billed directly and receive the bill by email.

This new, practical service improves the fluidity of the sacrosanct user experience and should strengthen G7's position in a highly competitive market. After being tested with 1000 usersIt is now available on both the individual application and the subscriber version. Subscribers can now find the payment method associated with their subscription, whether it's a direct debit from their corporate bank card or a statement payment.
