Originally scheduled for 13 December, the launch of the Thalys service between Paris and Dortmund has been postponed until spring 2016. The eighth German city will then be served with three daily connections. From Paris-Nord station, Thalys already serves the German cities of Cologne, Aachen, Düsseldorf, Duisburg and Essen.
In addition, the airline is adding a Nordic touch to the dishes served on board in Comfort 1 class. Offered at lunch and dinner until 5 April 2016, the new menu is concocted by chef Christer Elfving, who ran the Swedish restaurant Absolut Zweeds in Antwerp.
