The Tribe brand will be adding a new hotel in Lyon at the end of the summer, its 6e establishment in France and the 11e worldwide for this lifestyle brand from the Accor group. As in the Batignolles and Saint-Ouen districts of Paris, Tribe will be setting up shop in a lively, bohemian location that reflects its image, La Croix-Rousse hill.
Located on the outskirts of Lyon, in Caluire-et-Cuire, the hotel will showcase its contemporary approach to the hotel trade, combining sophisticated design, friendly atmosphere and affordable price. Accessible by public transport from the centre of Lyon and serving Part Dieu station in 15 minutes, the Tribe Lyon Croix-Rousse is set in the heart of a wooded park.
The establishment will offer 97 roomsincluding two suites, with a contemporary decor. Overlooking the city or the interior garden, they all offer premium bedding, Kevin Murphy hospitality products, a 50-inch TV with Chromecast service and, useful details for business travellers, a clothes steamer and coffee machine.
However, true to the canons of lifestyle hotels, the latest addition to the Tribe brand is intended to be a place to live for both travellers and their neighbours. With its Social Hub concept, the TRIBE hotel aims, among other things, to become a popular coworking space in the neighbourhood. Just as the restaurant is set to become a firm favourite with the locals, with its menu of Mediterranean-style dishes to share, but also, in fine weather, with its patio where you can sit and enjoy the garden.
Open to the outside world, this patio can also be used for business events as an extension to a meeting, with the hotel's owna 60 m² modular room with views over the park. Among other useful services for business travellers, the hotel also offers a fitness room and a range of local products and drinks to take away.
Present in Le Touquet and Carcassonne as well as in the La Défense business district in France, the Tribe brand is continuing to expand with the aim of opening around fifty establishments around the world over the next five years. Among the expected developments are destinations as diverse as Auckland and Baden-Baden in the near future, but also Budapest, Düsseldorf, Milan and Riga in Europe, Bangkok and Singapore in Asia and Belo Horizonte in Brazil.
