
The airport of Strasbourg will soon be here Volotea inherit a new public service concession. After MunichCopenhagen Airport will therefore be connected to the Grand Est region. Flights will commence on April 9th and will operate on Mondays and Thursdays.
The airline, which claims the status of "the airline of European regional capitals", thus confirms its leadership at Strasbourg airport. Volotea will indeed serve 28 destinations from the Alsatian airport, in 8 countries: Germany, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Morocco, Portugal, and therefore Denmark.
Gilles Gosselin, France Director of Volotea, is delighted with this upcoming inauguration: « We are delighted to announce today that we have secured the public service concession contract for the Strasbourg – Copenhagen route, which reflects our commitment to strengthening our network and connecting European regional capitals. Strasbourg residents will now be able to easily reach Copenhagen. This new destination in Denmark responds to the growing interest of our passengers in Nordic countries and demonstrates Volotea's roots in Strasbourg, as well as our ambition to continue developing our services to better connect the European capital to Europe.
