The next logical step for this brand inspired by Japanese-style capsule hotels, Yotel is due to open in the heart of Paris. Tokyo in 2024, in the Ginza district. Like a return to the seeds of the concept. " Japan's focus on technology and innovation has been an important source of inspiration for Yotel since its inception." underlined Hubert ViriotCEO of Yotel. Just a fifteen-minute walk from Tokyo station, the establishment will deploy the brand's strengths with small but ultra high-tech rooms - There are 244 of them, with a digitalised customer journey from booking to check-out, while adding one of the latest features to the concept: a robotic concierge.

With its offering in line with the expectations of local customers, Yotel has embarked on a genuine expansion strategy in major japanese citiess such as Kyoto, Kobe, Nagoya, Osaka Sapporo and Yokohama. At the same time, through its YotelAir concept, the group also plans to roll out its offer in the country's main airports and stations.

This Japanese offensive is representative of an all-out expansion, with Yotel aiming to reach the 50 hotels worldwide by 2025compared with around twenty today. Its target: prime locations for business travellers. This will be the case this year in Geneva, with a 237-room establishment close to the airport, housed in a complex with 2,000 square metres of space dedicated as much to mobile work and meetings as to relaxation. Similarly, next year, Yotel will be moving into the walls of the World Trade Center in Lisbon - with a rooftop hotel and event space - in Melbourne's Central Business District, in a first for the brand in Australia.

Another current project also fits perfectly with the brand's innovative concept. By 2025, Yotel will be participating in the famous Neom project in Saudi Arabia, a futuristic, sustainable city emerging on the Red Sea coast. More specifically, the brand has been selected to open the first hotel in Oxagon, the Neom district, dedicated to research and innovation. It's an establishment in tune with its surroundings, with 300 rooms, motorised SmartBeds, a robot-concierge, meeting rooms and a multifunctional restaurant and workspace, the Komyuniti. " It's an honour to be one of the first hotels to open in a city that is redefining industries through sustainable innovation.said Hubert Viriot. Oxagon promises to be a unique destination where new high-tech hospitality experiences can be tested live.

YotelPad London, expected in 2023.

As part of its expansion, the hotel group is counting on another fast-growing offering, long stays, with its YotelPad concept. This aparthotels launched in 2018, has already appeared in the United States, in Miami and Park City, and is based on "Pad" units, i.e. fully-equipped studios with multifunctional living spaces and, naturally, Yotel's own design spirit. " Determined to expand our presence to meet growing demand, YotelPad will be a key element in achieving our ambitious growth targets." said Rohan Thakkar, Yotel Group Development Director.

This development will take the form of solo establishments, such as those in Brussels next year, or a combo with a 'classic' Yotel, such as those planned for Atlanta and Long Island in 2024. By then, this range of apartment hotels will have made its debut in Europe from the end of 2023, à LondonA 62-key property in the Stratford district, with restaurant and laundry facilities. This is Yotel's third property in the British capital and seventh in the UK.
