What do you offer event and incentive organisers?
Yenisey Galindo - First of all, we are Cuba's largest agency, launched just 20 years ago. And we have a department dedicated to this type of operation, capable of rapidly providing truly tailor-made solutions, outside the traditional circuit. Organising operations in Cuba is as simple for a company as it is for an agency in France: you can send three groups in winter and three groups in summer, even if you don't have a prior service contract with the Cuban agency. Incentive groups are clearly prioritised and doors open easily for their operations.
What are the most frequent requests from French incentive groups?
Y. G. - They ask for things that are out of the ordinary. They go a lot to the Las Terrazas reserve, and they're also crazy about specialised cultural or nature tours. Jeep safaris in Varadero or the Viñales Valley are also very popular. In Havana, they love to dine with traditional music groups on the Plaza Vieja, in the paladares or in the museums. And, of course, a visit to Trinidad is a must, because Trinidad combines all three of the things people come to this island for: cities steeped in history, the beach and the mountains.
In what language is the support provided?
Y. G. - We have some very good French-speaking guides, and we always offer guidance in French for French-speaking customers. It's a language that is still widely studied in Cuba. We shouldn't forget that the Alliance française de Cuba is the largest in Latin America, and that the French film festival is a big hit in Havana every year!
