Hilton on pole at Silverstone, in cricket mode in Manchester

The Hilton Garden Inn brand is investing in the Silverstone F1 circuit and the Emirates Old Trafford cricket ground. Two hotels that will enhance the MICE offer at these top British sporting venues.

The recent Formula 1 British Grand Prix gave the Hilton Group the opportunity to officially open its new Hilton Garden Inn, the the only establishment on the Silverston circuite. A hotel in an unrivalled position, along the 'Hamilton Straight', renamed in 2020 in honour of the British champion.

As part of the sporting weekend, the commemoration was attended by a host of celebrities, on the decks, Paris Hiltonthe granddaughter of the hotel group's founder, for an exclusive DJ set, and Lando Norris to cut the cake in honour of the 60th anniversary of the company.e anniversary of McLaren Racing. A racing team with which the Hilton group has a long-standing partnership, notably in the unique experiences offered to members of the Hilton Honors loyalty program.

With its rooftop bar offering 360-degree views of the circuit, its 197 rooms overlooking the track and the BOX Bar & Kitchen restaurant, the Hilton Garden Inn Silverstone is obviously an ideal base for motorsport fans. But the hotel is also a prime location for business tourism with a direct link to the circuit's integrated conference and exhibition centre.

The Silverstone Wing is the largest corporate events venue in the UK outside London, with 12,500 m² of floor space and a capacity of up to 4,000 people. This international conference and exhibition centre features 17 rooms in totalincluding an auditorium and over 5,700 m² of exhibition space. Its five halls provide access to all the vehicles, and there are also around forty garages. It's the perfect venue for major conferences and trade shows, but also for team-building seminars, with all that a Formula 1 circuit has to offer in the way of outdoor and indoor activities, including a visit to the Silverstone Museum.

Temple of F1, home of cricket

While the mid-range Hilton Garden Inn brand takes its place in the English temple of the automobile, it is also part of another historic venue for British sport: Manchester's Emirates Old Trafford.
