Hilton may be the name of the game, and it may cover the globe with more than 4,700 hotels, but in the end, the famous customer experience is based on just a dozen or so employees that travellers come across during their stay. Opened in 2014, Hotel D has entrusted its interior design to Sybille de Margerie. An all-risk insurance policy when it comes to good taste, so to speak. Once again, the interior designer has created an original and welcoming setting. The communal areas - lobby, breakfast room, reception - have been decked out in bright, warm colours. The 37 rooms and suites blend the spirit of the times with tradition, with wood panelling and references to the local heritage, while the flashy desk adds a welcome touch of modernity.
ADONIS
A newcomer to the local hotel scene, the Adonis has been attracting a growing number of business travellers to its thirty or so rooms since January. Its secret: affordable rates - the hotel has a three-star rating - and a location halfway between the city centre and the business district, opposite the Parc du Contades. The modern facilities contrast with the charm of this former private mansion, whose main feature decorates the stairwell: a perfectly preserved stained glass window by the Ott brothers, dating from the last century.

In the historic heart of Strasbourg, a well-known address for local customers, a member of the Alsatian hotel group Diana.
