
Ruby, the lifestyle brand recently acquired by IHG, has made its first foray into France with the opening of Ruby Lilou in Marseille in recent days. Located at 49 Boulevard des Dames, between the Vieux Port and La Joliette, this new establishment is located in the heart of the Euroméditerranée business district, within a complex of repurposed office buildings.
Fully restructured by BNP Paribas Immobilier Promotion with the help of the architectural firms Gensler/Claire Fatosme and Christian Lefèvre, this mixed-use project of over 10,000 m² now houses a high-end hotel with 237 rooms. Design inspired by luxury yachts, Marshall amplifiers and Bluetooth speakers to play music, rain showers: these are divided into four categories – Nest, Cosy, Lovely and Wow.
With its 24/7 open bar-café on the ground floor and a 300 m² rooftop where you can relax from morning until late in the evening while enjoying panoramic views of the Bonne Mère and the Grande Bleue, Ruby Lilou offers an animated base five minutes by metro from Saint-Charles station, from the Joliette station, and just a few steps from the hotel.


But business travelers will also find a place suited to their professional daily lives with a three-level coworking space, the Ruby Yani, spanning nearly 1,000 m². Operated by Ruby Group, which launched the brand in 2013 and continues to manage the establishments under a master franchise agreement with IHG, this flexible workplace features more than 125 flexible desks, as well as private offices and meeting rooms. With subscriptions starting at 60 euros per month and day passes at 30 euros that also offer access to the hotel’s rooftop, it’s the ideal place to work.
