Hilton: openings expected by the end of the year

From luxury in London and Kuala Lumpur to lifestyle in Singapore and MICE in the United States: an overview of the new hotels expected by the Hilton group by the end of the year.

From the prestigious Waldorf Astoria in Kuala Lumpur and, even more so, in London, the debut of its lifestyle brand NoMad in Singapore, to major business hotels: Hilton continues its dynamic development with many new hotels to come by the end of the year. In the United States, the group notably saw the debut of one of its most recent brands, Apartment Collection by Hilton, with residential accommodations in Pittsburgh in September and soon in Huntsville, Alabama; while a Home2 Suites will open in December in the heart of San Diego, near the city’s convention center.

But business travelers will especially benefit from the expansion of its premium brand in the MICE segment, first in Indianapolis with a 803-room hotel – the tallest in the city – offering direct access to the Indiana Convention Center. Scheduled for December, in parallel with the completion of the complete renovation of Conrad Indianapolis, this facility will feature more than 9,000 square meters of modular meeting spaces, half of which are occupied by a huge ballroom. A few weeks later, in early January, the Signia Hilton Naples Grande Beach Resort will also strengthen the offer of this Florida beach destination for business tourism.

But it is in Asia that the loyal customers of the American group will be able to discover new establishments, notably the DoubleTree by Hilton Singapore Robertson Quay which has been open for a few days; a 344-room hotel offering two dining concepts, an outdoor pool and seven modular spaces for meetings and events. This opening precedes another event for Hilton: the launch in Singapore of its luxury and lifestyle brand NoMad, the City-State being the second city in the world after London where to discover this sophisticated concept through this 173-room arty hotel.

Not far from there, in Kuala Lumpur, Hilton will make a double coup with two new luxury business hotels in the Golden Triangle of the Malaysian capital, first a Waldorf Astoria expected in October, featuring 268 spacious suites of at least 80 m², and more than 3,745 m² of meeting and event spaces, including a Grand Ballroom. In mid-December, it will be the turn of the Conrad brand to make its debut in Malaysia, in a skyscraper where this 481-room hotel will span 50 floors, including two dedicated to meetings and events.

But the most important opening of the year will take place in Europe with the unveiling of a prestigious project: the conversion into luxury hotel accommodation of the Admiralty Arch, located opposite Buckingham Palace at the end of the Mall. This was once the residence of the principal figures of the British Admiralty, including Lord Mountbatten and Winston Churchill, who were about to open a 100-room and suite establishment featuring restaurants run by the multi-starred chefs Clare Smyth and Daniel Boulud and equipped with a range of event spaces presented as «grandiosely intimate», including a ballroom capable of accommodating up to 500 guests.

The European continent will also see the launch of the new lifestyle brand at the end of the year. Outset Collection by Hilton With the opening of the first boutique hotel in Spain, Casa Verbena Madrid, a 45-room property located in the heart of the Spanish capital on Calle de Preciados. In parallel, another recent brand from the American group, Spark by Hilton, will continue its expansion in Europe.

Appeared at Lyon and at the airport of Milan Linate In particular, this brand positioned at the upper end of the economic segment will accelerate its growth in the United Kingdom with the signing of 10 hotels in England and Wales. As part of an agreement with AG Hotels Group, hotels located in Cardiff, Coventry, Derby, Doncaster, Hull, Peterborough, Runcorn, Sunderland, Wakefield and Washington will gradually be converted to the brand between late 2026 and 2028. In parallel, the first Spark by Hilton in Scotland will appear by the end of the year in Dunfermline.
