Meet Fabrice Perez, director of events agency Chardon Loisirs

"Our positioning is: 'Dare to be sensational!

How long has the agency been in existence?

Fabrice Perez: the agency was founded in 1990 in Courchevel by Alain Chardon, a ski instructor. Operating exclusively in the 3 Vallées, it specialises in sports events and evening entertainment for seminars and incentives. 85 % of activities are winter activities. The remaining 15 % are generated in the summer by our white water base at Salins-les-Thermes, on the banks of the Doron de Bozel.

What activities do you offer?

F. P. : Our positioning is: "Dare to be thrilled! So we offer all kinds of activities, including snowmobiling, with snow scooter grand prix events organised on a stretch of track at the Altiport. There's also ice climbing, tobogganing competitions on the run between Courchevel 1850 and 1550, igloo building and snowshoe outings. For evenings or lunches, we have two yurts, seating 14 to 30 people, a cellar that can accommodate 45 guests and a lumberjack hut that seats 80. In the latter, in the middle of the mountains and accessible by caterpillar, a Michelin-starred chef can prepare gourmet dinners. The completely offbeat atmosphere is a big hit!

How many groups do you welcome each year?

F. P. : Between 150 and 250 groups. They come in all shapes and sizes and are not necessarily sporty! To cater for them, we have around ten staff and call on the ESF instructors and the guides' office.
