After Paris-Montparnasse on10 December 2017, OUIGO will enter Paris-Est station from 7 July 2018. From this date, SNCF will be offering four round trips daily services to six destinations: three already linked to Paris by high-speed trains - Champagne-Ardenne TGV, Lorraine TGV and Strasbourg - plus three new destinations: Metz, Nancy and Colmar.
In detail, two trains will be offered in the morning: the Paris Est-Nancy at 8.13am and the Paris-Colmar at 9.25am, with a stop in Strasbourg. A Paris-Strasbourg service is scheduled for early afternoon, at 12.55pm, with a stop at Lorraine TGV. Finally, at 4.40pm, an OUIGO will be running between Paris Est and Metz, with a stop at Champagne TGV.
"The arrival of OUIGO continues in the centre of Paris. In just six months, we have launched the service in Paris Gare Montparnasse and now Paris Gare de l'Est. We have also added three new destinations in Alsace-Lorraine. Although OUOGO is mainly aimed at families and leisure travellers, business travellers who want to keep their budgets under control may be interested in attractive ratesFrom €10 to Champagne-Ardenne TGV and €16 to Strasbourg and Colmar.
Alongside its premium inOUI travel offer, SNCF intends to ramp up its low-cost product, 100% digital, which attracted more than seven million passengers last year. OUIGO should account for 25 % of high-speed traffic in 2020, compared with 5 % last year, according to its chairman Guillaume Pepy. With the new routes proposed from Paris Est, OUIGO's offer will cover from 7 July 24 destinations - including the new Montpellier Sud-de-France station - with 38 daily services on board 18 trains.
