
For several months, the Swiss Federal Railways Swiss Railways (SBB) tested with 15,000 users a new travelcard integrated into SBB's mobile application. The trial was a great success with users, and convinced SBB to extend the new service. EasyRide to all public transport users in Switzerland.
The principle is simple. All you have to do is register on the SBB mobile application to access the automatic ticketing and register a credit card or other means of payment recognised by the tool.
For each trip, travellers need to identify their point of departure and disconnect where they want, at the end of their journey. For example, if the value of the journey exceeds the price of a day pass, the most advantageous fare, that of the day pass, will be applied.
