" It was with great pleasure that Sébastien Bazin and I welcomed our first customer this morning at the opening of the new Pullman Paris Montparnasse. On 27 December, Maud Bailly, the Accor Group's Managing Director for Southern Europe, announced on LinkedIn the completion of the "new Accor" project.a long and vast project that began in late summer 2017. A message that welcomes the return to the scene of one of the major players in the Paris MICE hotel industry, whose reopening was initially scheduled for September 2020 before being postponed wave after wave.
As the largest Pullman hotel in Europe, the new flagship of Accor's business brand was already known for its ability to host high-end, large-capacity meetings before its metamorphosis. This role has been regenerated and enhanced with its new a 6,000m² events centre spread over three floors. In natural daylight, the venue boasts 50 modular rooms suitable for all types of business meetings, all equipped with state-of-the-art technology. These include Samsung screens ranging from 75 to 85 inches, an excellent Wi-Fi network, directional microphones for perfect sound pick-up, and tablets that can be used to control the room's lighting and temperature, and put you in touch with the hotel's teams.
The fourth floor of the Event Center, named Green FloorThe hotel's 13 Green Rooms are designed to combine work and well-being, with as many meeting rooms opening onto an 800 m² green terrace. There is also an executive lounge, the Green Suite, incorporating a dining room and extended by a private terrace.
While the Pullman Paris Montparnasse offers 19 rooms on its upper floors that can be converted into meeting rooms, the highlight of its MICE offering is its 742 m² ballroomIt has no pillars and a 7 m high ceiling. Fully modular, it can accommodate up to 735 people for conventions, private parties or even fashion shows. At the beginning of 2022, the hotel will complete its events offering with the opening of a 1,500 m2 space dedicated to creative and immersive experiences and content, designed in collaboration with the Montreal-based company C2, known for its production of avant-garde business events.
However, with its contemporary redesign by CUT Architectures, the Pullman Montparnasse is not just a great business hotel, but a great hotel in its own right, with its 957 rooms with views. These include suites and, at the top of the hotel, several 60m² flats with kitchenette and dining room. In terms of living spaces, the Pullman has two restaurants: Fi'lia, a top-of-the-range Italian restaurant due to open next year, and UmamiBurger, a new restaurant concept focusing on gourmet burgers to eat in or take away. The highlight of the hotel's offer: the Pullman tower, in almost equal dialogue with its neighbour the Montparnasse tower, is crowned by a Skybar, a rooftop bar on the 32nd and top floor. Get Ready to Rise, as the hotel motto invites you?
