Despite a slight fall in occupancy (73%, compared with 75% in 2010), the results published on 13 March by The Ascott Limited group are positive overall. Business travellers are still in the majority in the group's establishments (60%), which is delighted with the Citadines brand's move upmarket, made possible by a refurbishment programme. Eight Apart'hotels have been partially or completely renovated, including the Citadines La Défense and Montparnasse in Paris. The process is continuing this year, with work underway in seven new residences, in particular the Citadines Louvre Paris and Place d'Italie. Lastly, Citadines is expanding in Germany, with two new establishments planned in Hamburg and Frankfurt, at the end of 2013 and the beginning of 2014 respectively.
