Four Seasons adds a new address in Tokyo

Canadian luxury group Four Seasons has just opened a new hotel in Tokyo's Otemachi financial district, offering 170 rooms and 20 suites.

A location at the heart of TokyoThe Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi, which opened its doors on 1 September 2020, has established itself as a new high-end venue in the Japanese capital, with views across the city and as far as Mount Fuji and a sleek design. Close to the Imperial Palace and Tokyo Station, the establishment is located in the Otemachi financial district.

The Canadian group's second business address in Tokyo, the establishment is located on the top six floors of a 39-storey tower designed by the architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. Unlike the Four Seasons MarunouchiA more intimate establishment with 57 rooms and suites, the new hotel stands out for its capacity with its 170 rooms and 20 suites, including the Imperial Suite at 38e floor.

Works of art on the walls, floor-to-ceiling glass, clean lines and soothing colours: the interior design of the rooms, entrusted to Jean-Michel Gathy, blends Japanese aesthetics and panoramic views. All of which is complemented by a top-quality bed, state-of-the-art technology and plenty of space to work.

Business travellers and event organisers a floor dedicated to professional events with more than 1,370 m2 of modular spaceThese include a ballroom and four meeting rooms, all of which can accommodate up to 600 people. In addition, the hotel has a residential-style venue, the Social Room on the 39th floor, for executive meetings or intimate celebrations.

For relaxation, in addition to a spa, the luxury hotel offers four new bar and restaurant concepts with the gastronomic table Est, by Michelin-starred chef Guillaume Bracaval, the Italian restaurant Pigneto, plus the Virtu cocktail bar and the Lounge, a kind of sanctuary in the clouds for tasting exceptional teas and pastries. In response to the pandemic, the Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi is deploying all the health protocols set out by the Canadian group through its Lead With Care programme.
