Unlike other hotel openings celebrated with great pomp and ceremony in most 'listed' business destinations, it was in complete secrecy that the Marriott brand took its place on 1er Last July, the Radisson opened its doors at number 16 Boulevard Haussmann. The building, built in 1927 and home to Charles Lindbergh, who had just completed his Atlantic crossing, had until then been flying the Radisson colours. Its arrival in the Marriott fold brings the American group's portfolio in the capital to twelve. The 298-key hotel is equipped with nine meeting rooms, with a total surface area of 630 m² dedicated to meetings. The new Red Coat Direct service is due to arrive soon, enabling meeting and event requests to be managed in real time from a tablet. However, we will have to wait until next year to see the hotel undergo its 'transformation', even if only partially: Marriott has already announced its intention to 'remodel' the lobby, with a view to turning it into a space for 'playing and working'.
