In Hamburg, it will be no more and no less than the architectural counterpart to its emblematic concert hall designed by architects Herzog & de Meuron. The Elbphilarmonie, until now the flagship of the urban project HafenCityIt will soon be joined by another focal point of the business district, the Elbtower. The city's future tallest building - and soon to be Germany's third-tallest skyscraper -This tower with its curved façade will rise 245 m above the Elbe, with 64 floors housing the latest generation of offices, as well as a Nobu hotel.
The city has just approved its development plan, designed by David Chipperfield Architects in partnership with SIGNA Real Estate, and construction is due to start by the end of the year, with completion scheduled for 2025. It is at this time that the Nobu Hotel Elbtower Hamburg. With its naturally contemporary, uncluttered design and a 200-seat Nobu restaurant, the hotel will offer the fundamentals of the brand developed by chef Nobu Matsushisa and Robert de Niro. The hotel will also offer 191 spacious rooms and suites, a fitness centre, a terrace bar and a lounge with views over the Elbe.
On the business side, the hotel will offer a sophisticated event space for business meetings extended by an outdoor terrace. The Nobu Hotel Elbtower Hamburg will also be home to a private Nobu Club, whose members will have access to a VIP lounge with a food and beverage offer.
