The building of the new InterContinental Osaka hotel inaugurated on Tuesday houses 215 rooms, each measuring over 50m². The harmony of Japanese culture is enhanced by a décor combining natural stone motifs, wood and glass. Four meeting rooms are available for corporate meetings and events, while a fitness centre with a swimming pool is open non-stop. "Our arrival in Osaka is an important milestone for our group, as Osaka has the potential to become one of Asia's leading gateway cities," says Jan Smits, IHG's Managing Director for Asia, Middle East and Africa.
