Sofitel awakens the luxury hotel industry in Adelaide

After three decades of dormancy, Adelaide's luxury hotel industry will soon be welcoming a brand new player: the Sofitel Luxury is due to open its doors in 2018 in a brand new building in Australia's business district.

The result of an investment of some 140 million dollars, the Sofitel Luxury Hotel will take up residence in 2018 in the Palumbo Tower, at 106 Currie Street, in Adelaide's business district. The Accor Group brand will offer 250 rooms and suites, occupying the first 24 floors of the tower - the other eight being occupied by flats. The Sofitel Luxury hotel will feature a restaurant, four bars, a function room, a swimming pool, a fitness centre and MICE facilities.
