After the SNCF a few weeks ago, it's now the turn of Trenitalia to unveil its transport plan for the 1st May bridge due to the closure of Gare de Lyon (and Bercy), where SNCF Réseau will be carrying out major work on the tracks and signal boxes. With no trains departing from or arriving at the Paris station between the evening of 30 April and the early afternoon of 3 May, Trenitalia will be offering a much reduced service, having only managed to postpone some operations at the Marne-la-Vallée Chessy TGV station.
One or two Frecciarossa trains will run on the 1er and 2 May to each destination served by Trenitalia: at 7.02 am to Milan, 2.33 pm to Lyon Part Dieu, 6.18 am and 3.17 pm to Marseille. In the other direction, the "red arrows" will leave Milan at 6.20am, Lyon Perrache at 5.08pm and Marseille Saint-Charles at 10.11am and 7.03pm. The resumption of traffic to Gare de Lyon will be gradual on Sunday 3 May, depending on departure times. The 6.18am train to Marseille and the 6.36am train to Milan will be the last to leave Marne-la-Vallée Chessy station. More trains departing in the morning from Milan, Marseille and Lyon will arrive at the Paris station in the afternoon.
The marketing of 1er to 3 May is now open
By specifying Marne-la-Vallée Chessy as the departure or arrival station, ticket sales for these timetables are now open, announces the company in a press release, which also specifies that due to this transfer "The catering services usually offered on board may not be available at 100 %. It should be noted that while Disneyland Paris station is also one of SNCF Voyageurs' fallback solutions, the national operator has been able to draw on its network of stations in the Paris region to offer TGV departures and arrivals at Paris-Montparnasse, Paris-Est and Paris CDG-TGV stations, as well as at the Transilien stations at Paris Pont de Rungis and Versailles Chantiers.
