Two more palaces in Paris

The Mandarin Oriental and the Shangri-La Paris join the closed circle of the capital's palaces.

It was expected, given their luxurious positioning, but now it's official: the Mandarin Oriental and the Shangri-La Paris have been awarded the Palace distinction by the tourism development agency Atout France. They are now part of a closed circle of 16 establishments.

For the record, here are the exceptional hotels recognised by this distinction, launched in 2010:
