The boundaries between the different sectors of business travel are sometimes permeable. Vueling is proving this at the end of 2012, with the announcement of a new project which is due to come to fruition in early 2013: next February, the first Hoteles Vueling by HC hotel is due to open in Barcelona, launched jointly by the airline and Spanish hotelier Hoteles Catalonia. The four-star hotel, which will be decorated in an airline-inspired style, will have a total of 64 rooms, and will mark the start of a new area of development for Vueling, which is already looking at other destinations in the Iberian market, including Madrid.
