Until now, the Wyndham group has kept a relatively low profile on the European market, but it is now stepping up a gear by expanding its offering on the Old Continent: between now and 1er As of March this year, no fewer than 33 hotels will be added to the portfolio of the American hotel operator, which is targeting Germany in particular. Almost all the hotels concerned will be located in Germany, with the exception of two establishments in Amsterdam and Antwerp. A further ten hotels will be added to the Wyndham portfolio over the next two years, almost doubling Wyndham's German offering. With the agreement made official on 20 February, the American group will acquire more than a third of the Grand City Hotel portfolio, and will launch the Wyndham Garden brand in Europe. Wyndham will also be taking its first steps on the German market, as will the TRYP brand in the Benelux countries.
