Chengdu awaits the Mandarin Oriental

Mandarin Oriental will soon be opening a new hotel in China, in Chengdu, in the west of the country. The hotel will cater for the fast-growing business clientele in Sichuan province and for MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, Event) events.

The future Mandarin Oriental Chegdu is due to open its doors in 2015, occupying the top 33 floors of a new building. It will then have 320 rooms, and above all two reception halls with 1200 and 500 seats, to host large-scale corporate events. The hotel's wellness facilities will also be well thought out - with a vast spa featuring ten treatment rooms - as will the choice of restaurants and bars.
