Design - Le Méridien makes a new entrance

Is the lobbying war back on? After Hilton in the spring, it's Le Méridien's turn to unveil its new lobby concept.

First of all, the terminology has changed: here the lobby becomes a hub. A place where people meet and chat between meetings at key times of the day. This "hub has been designed as "a meeting place for creative minds, a place that facilitates dialogue and awakens curiosity".explains the LM100 collective, a group of designers, artists and other creators working for Starwood Hotels & Resorts. The lobby is divided into three zones. "The arrival experience begins as soon as you enter the hotel, with works of art displayed in a carefully chosen light and sound environment. In the second zone, "interactionThe atmosphere is relaxed, and the furnishings are designed to encourage dialogue or contemplation, depending on the mood.

Just as in "Le bar attitude where you can enjoy "little blacks or nibble in a creative setting, reminiscent of a café terrace by day and a vineyard setting by night. Only Le Méridien Barcelona currently has this hub, but other similar spaces will be created over the course of the year in the brand's other hotels.
