Secret Retreats: intimate Asia

A new voluntary chain, Secret Retreats specialises in eternal Asia and brings together around thirty small luxury hotels with strong personalities.
Bruno Ferret, Federico Asaro and Stéphane Junca created Secret Retreats, a new voluntary Asian chain of 33 charming establishments, with the aim of bringing together people with a passion for Asia, all of whom own their own establishments. Just like them, in a way. "To describe the establishments that are members of our chain, I prefer to talk about a "house", rather than a boutique hotel. Because it is these owners who have built up their project over time and who bring something unique to the table", explains Bruno Ferret, Director of Secret Retreats.

With an average of around twenty rooms, and sometimes far fewer, these establishments, some of which have left Relais et Châteaux to take part in the adventure, have one thing in common: they offer a special experience, whether they are resolutely designer or, on the contrary, an authentic cocoon.

From 33 addresses, Secret Retreats expects to have around sixty members in the next two years. Business travellers will be able to find some of these addresses in Bangkok, Beijing, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, Ho Chi Minh City and Jaipur. The others, whether in cultural destinations such as Siem Reap, Luang Prabang or Chiang Mai, or paradise destinations such as Bali, Lombok or the island of Tioman in Malaysia, are ideal for organising board meetings or intimate incentives.
