The Sofitel brand arrived on the Indian market on 26 December: the Sofitel Mumbai BKC opened its doors, paving the way for two other establishments planned by 2014 in Mumbai: the Sofitel So Mumbai and the Sofitel Mumbai Mulund. The hotel, based in the new financial district, has 302 rooms, including 31 suites. It also has a conference room and swimming pool.
