A fifth Waldorf Astoria hotel has joined the Hilton Group's Chinese calendar: the American hotelier has just announced the signing of an agreement that should lead to the opening of a new hotel in Chengdu, in the west of the country, in 2016. The establishment, which will offer 300 rooms spread over the top fifteen floors of a building opposite the financial centre, will focus in particular on developing the MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention Event) sector in Chengdu.
